Dr. Brian Stelck

Brian oversees the Kenya Project, which provides training to church leaders in the African Brotherhood Church and the African Christian Churches and Schools.
Brian is President of Carey and Associate Professor of Applied Theology. His areas of expertise are in international/intercultural education and development, missiology, evangelism, and theological education. Awarded a scholarship for excellence in preaching, Brian is experienced as a pastor, a church planter, and a denominational executive. He spent eight years as a missionary with Canadian Baptist Ministries in East Africa. While in Kenya he was involved in developing partnerships with key Kenyan Christian denominations. He has written articles for numerous recognized Journals, is currently an executive staff member of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada, and is an ordained minister with the CBWC.
