CERTIFICATE/DIPLOMA IN MINISTRY
The Certificate/Diploma in Ministry is a course of study for persons seeking personal growth, spiritual formation and mature theological understanding. It is designed to equip students for ministry in a variety of environments, with a particular focus on the local church. The program takes students on a journey that renews the personal life of faith, develops a measure of professional competence, and stimulates growth in biblical and theological foundations for ministry.
The Certificate/Diploma in Ministry may be taken as part of a church-based local cohort of students who journey through the program together. The church-based cohort porgram involves on-site lectures and seminars, online courses, mentorship, and practical ministry assignments.
Alternatively, it may be taken on an individual basis which involves guided studies, online courses, mentorship, and practical ministry assignments.
While there are some core subject requirements, for each student a personalized program may be designed to provide for a balance of academic biblical studies and competence in the practice of ministry.
Both the Certificate and Diploma cover the same content, but with different assignments. The Diploma is at a graduate level; the Certificate is at an undergraduate level.
